1. Rock n play sleeper
This was a lifesaver for the first few months. My daughter would instantly fall asleep when placed in the rock n play sleeper. The rock n play sleeper is not recommended for overnight sleeping or unsupervised sleep.
I brought this swing into the NICU with my daughter and she loved it. So anytime she would get fussy she would instantly stop once placed in the swing.
When we brought her home from the NICU it was one of the familiar items and she always calmed down when placed in the swing.
3. Sea machine
This is another item I brought into the hospital and it was a huge hit. My daughter would find herself bored or upset often when she was alone and the sea soother was a big lifesaver.
Still, to this day she likes it and can now turn it on and off herself.
4. Video monitor
Being a preemie mom and spending countless months in the NICU I was terrified when I brought her home. I wanted a good video monitor so I could easily check on her.
This monitor offers tilt, zoom, two way audio and room temperature display.
5. Bandanna bibs
My daughter spit up a lot. The bandanna bibs were a true lifesaver. They kept her clothes clean and there are so many adorable designs to choose from.
6. Burp cloths
I had extra burp cloths around the house. I liked these burp cloths as they were thick and easily absorbed formula.
7. Sit chair
Once my daughter could hold her head up she loved sitting in the sit me up a chair. She loved being able to sit up and easily watch her surroundings. There was also toys attached to the chair that she could easily play and chew on.
I’m still using my boppy. It truly makes feeds more comfortable. You can also use the boppy for tummy time and the cover can be easily removed and thrown in the washing machine.
The baby DockATot has become super popular for new parents. The baby lounger is multipurpose but does come with a hefty price tag that many are saying worth every penny. They have several designs to choose from and all are super cute.
10. Petal bath
This petal bath fit inside my kitchen sink perfectly. I used it for the first few months before transitioning her to the tub. It was easy to use and I could throw it in the washing machine when needed.
11. Nose cleaner
This nose cleaner worked wonders. It was easy to use and helped clear my daughters nose on the days when she was stuffed up.
12. Tummy time mat
Not only is this tummy time mat adorable but it’s perfect for getting your baby their tummy time for the day.
There is a pillow to place underneath the babies chest, a mirror and toys attached for entertainment.
My daughter loved this mat and enjoyed looking at herself in the mirror.
